This policy applies to Moxbits (MXB) and other KGE virtual balances or digital items unless a product posts more specific rules.
Effective:
1. Nature of Moxbits
Moxbits are limited-use virtual currency for participating KGE experiences. They are not legal tender, a deposit account, a stored-value bank account, securities, cryptocurrency or a promise of future cash value. Unless KGE expressly launches a different program, Moxbits cannot be redeemed or cashed out for real-world money.
2. Limited license
When you acquire Moxbits or a digital item, you receive a limited, personal, revocable license to use that digital value or item in supported KGE experiences according to the applicable product rules. You do not acquire ownership of KGE servers, intellectual property or a transferable property interest merely because an account displays a balance.
3. Purchases and funding
Moxbits may be acquired through supported purchase methods or promotional grants. Purchase availability, packages, taxes, platform fees and payment methods vary by product and platform. Virtual currency acquired through Apple In-App Purchase, Google Play Billing or another distribution channel may be restricted to the app, game title, platform or channel in which it was acquired when store rules require that restriction. KGE will not represent a store-restricted balance as universally spendable.
Important for app-store purchases: The common Moxbits wallet architecture does not override Apple or Google billing rules. Store-purchased balances and digital items can be title- or channel-scoped even when they appear under the same KGE identity.
4. Ledger and corrections
KGE’s server-side records are authoritative for wallet balance and transaction history. KGE may correct duplicate, erroneous, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions and may reverse grants, purchases or entitlements associated with refunds or chargebacks, subject to applicable law.
5. Transfers, gifting and trading
Moxbits may not be sold, transferred, traded or gifted between users unless KGE expressly enables that feature. Unauthorized secondary markets are prohibited and can create fraud or account-security risks.
6. Expiration and discontinuation
KGE will disclose any applicable expiration rule at purchase or as required by law. If a product or Moxbits feature is discontinued, KGE will handle remaining balances and purchased digital items in accordance with applicable law, platform rules and any product-specific notice.
7. Account restriction or closure
Account closure can affect access to Moxbits and digital items. Fraud, chargebacks or serious policy violations may result in reversals or forfeiture to the extent permitted by law. Lawful retention of transaction records may continue after account closure.
8. Refunds
Virtual-currency and digital-item refunds are governed by the Refund Policy, applicable store rules and law. A refund may require a corresponding reversal of Moxbits or entitlements.
Important: Product-specific disclosures, app-store rules and rights that cannot legally be waived may supplement or override general language in this policy.
