Avenlyne companions

A companion should feel like the same person tomorrow.

Avenlyne is KGE’s companion platform for persistent identity, memory, relationship continuity, visible life and character state.

More than a chat window

Identity + memory + life context.

The model can generate language. Avenlyne’s job is to keep the approved character, relationship and life context coherent around it.

Persistent identity

One canonical character record rather than a different version in every product.

Visible life

Day, schedule, mood, relationships and recent events can inform the experience.

Original characters with actual continuity.

Aeryn Ai, Mickayla Ai, Emily Ai, Sierra and the wider cast are designed as recurring KGE characters rather than disposable prompt presets.

The bigger idea

Why continuity changes the companion experience

The goal is not to pretend a model is human. It is to give a fictional companion a stable identity, approved memory, relationship history and time-aware state so the experience can stay coherent as conversations and models change.

Canonical identity
A character has one authoritative identity and canon instead of being rebuilt from scratch in every app.
Persistent relationship context
Approved memories, relationship history and state can inform later conversations rather than requiring constant re-explanation.
Portable releases
The same canonical character can be bound to a standalone companion app, HangWave or another approved KGE experience.
Questions worth answering

Before you jump in.

Does Avenlyne mean the character is conscious?

No. Avenlyne is software architecture for fictional AI characters and companion experiences.

Does it remember everything?

No. Memory should be selective, controllable, correctable and subject to privacy and retention rules.

Can the underlying model change?

Yes. One benefit of a persistent engine is separating durable character state from any one language model version.

Why does persistence matter?

See why long-term state, shared history and model-independent continuity can make an AI companion feel dramatically more coherent over time.
