KGE uses a dedicated support category for safety and abuse reports so higher-risk matters can be identified and escalated more quickly.
Effective:
1. Emergencies
If someone is in immediate danger, contact appropriate emergency services or law enforcement. KGE Support is not an emergency-response service.
2. What to report
Safety reports can include credible threats, harassment, stalking, sexual exploitation, grooming, sextortion, non-consensual intimate content, doxxing, scams, account takeover, dangerous impersonation or other serious policy violations.
3. Helpful information
Provide the relevant KGE username, product, profile/post/message identifiers, dates, screenshots or other context needed to locate and evaluate the issue. Do not send passwords, authentication codes or your 6-digit Support PIN.
4. How KGE handles reports
KGE may triage reports by severity, preserve relevant records, restrict accounts or content, request additional information, escalate high-risk cases, and refer matters to authorities or reporting organizations when required or permitted by law.
5. Intimate-image abuse
KGE prohibits non-consensual intimate content. Covered KGE services will maintain reporting and removal processes consistent with applicable law, including any legally required response timelines.
6. Confidentiality and notice
KGE limits internal access to safety reports to people and systems that need the information for support, investigation, security, legal or policy purposes. KGE may not be able to keep a report confidential where disclosure is required by law or necessary to address an urgent safety risk.
7. Outcomes
KGE may not disclose every enforcement detail to a reporter because doing so can expose another user’s private information, security methods or an active investigation. Where appropriate, KGE can confirm that a report was received or resolved.
Important: Product-specific rules and rights that cannot legally be waived may supplement or override this policy.
